I was looking for a replacement tent pole for a bivy tent I picked up cheap
at a yard sale.
I happened upon this site and you can make your own tent poles
with the newer and lighter Easton Aluminum, instead of fiberglass.
You can even buy lengths of shockcording for the poles.
Tent zippers too!

After looking through the site I found it's a good source for technical fabrics,
silnylon, fleece, etc if you want to make your own tarps, tents, outerwear
etc.

I plan on ordering from them, I'll post later and let you know how it goes.
